Katie Cotugno (kitchendoor)
Katie is a Pushcart Prize nominee whose fiction has appeared in
The Apalachee Review, Argestes, and The Broadkill Review,
among others. Her nonfiction has been featured on nerve.com.
She blogs at kitchendoor, where she offers her (many) opinions on
homemade Oreos, the Amtrak Northeast Regional, and the small
indignities of office work. In her free time, Katie likes to try
and convince her more erudite friends to read books by Nora
Roberts. She also knits, but badly. She lives in Boston, where she
is hard at work on a novel about runaways and missionaries that
might as well be titled The Albatross Around My Neck.
Rebecca A. Flanagan (becflan)
Rebecca lives in the Connecticut suburbs but works
(and couch-surfs) in Manhattan. By day she is a not-
so-mild-mannered office manager for a publisher of
niche magazines. By night she is an avowed cat lady
who really enjoys tea, The Daily Show, and staying
up way too late. Rebecca has a BFA in Writing,
Literature and Publishing and an MFA in Creative
Writing from Emerson College, where she was
Editor in Chief of The Emerson Review for two years.
Lauren is a freelance graphic designer with an Associate’s
Degree from Full Sail University. Like her sister Rebecca,
she is an unapologetic cat lady, though she prefers green
tea to black. In addition to designing the lovely logo at
the top of our site, Lauren has been commissioned to
create unique and intricate tattoos for many of her friends
and acquaintances. She plans to learn the tattoo trade
while continuing to do art and design work in other
media. You can see more of her work here.
